The property is located in the Wawa area, approximately 14 km south of Missinabie. It consists of eight patented mining claims which cover 155 ha. Historical work was limited, dating back to pre-1960’s. Deposit models and styles of mineralization on the property are of the classic shear-hosted quartz vein systems in felsic pluton similar to the Bourlamague batholith with extensive alteration, shearing and persistent gold mineralization along a north trending shear. The gold bearing shear, up to 25 metres wide was traced for approximately 1.5 km. Previous work delineated gold bearing quartz vein 34m long by 3m thick averaging 0.19 oz/ton in trenches. Limited surface work by Alto in 2005 returned grab sample values up to 26.8 g/t gold and up to 0.41 g/t Pt+Pd.
