The Mud Lake Property is in the Onaman-Tashota greenstone belt (OTGB) in the southern Wabigoon Sub-province of the Superior Province, of Ontario. Gold Mineralization was discovered along a six km segment of the Mud Lake Shear Zone (MLSZ). To date 12 significant gold occurrences have been identified on surface by hydraulic washing and sampling. In 2007 and 2008 Alto completed 42 diamond drill holes totaling 3,045 m at several locations along the MLSZ. Surface work including hydraulic stripping, sampling and geological mapping were completed in the period from 2006 to 2009. Glacial till sampling programs were completed during the 2018 and 2019 summer field programs returning several samples with significant gold grain counts in the tills.
