The Three Towers Property is located approximately 50 km west of the town of Geraldton. It currently consists of 66 single mining claims. The property is situated within the Beardmore-Geraldton greenstone belt straddling the contact between clastic sedimentary units to the south and mafic volcanic rocks to the north. A narrow-banded iron formation occurs near the contact between these two lithologies and this is the main target on the property. Alto drilled six holes totaling 996 m in 2008 and significant gold associated with quartz veins and narrow-banded iron formation was intersected in three of the six holes, confirming gold for 100m along strike and to a vertical depth of 170m. Some of the better gold grades include 1.35 g/t across 0.55m; 1.04 g/t across 0.5m; 2.14 g/t across 0.75m; 2.16 g/t across 1.1 m; and 2.34 across 0.5m. The results of this program are encouraging as they confirm that gold mineralization extends along strike and to depth and the zones are open. Additional drilling will be required to further test this gold horizon.
